Happy Easter everyone :-)
It's finally time for me to announce the winner of the entire OPI Euro Centrale Collection. I have been away on a little Easter vacation with my family, so that's the reason why I haven't shared any new posts with you. Before I reveal the lucky winner, I just have to thank each and every single one of you who entered our giveaway. We got over 13.900 entries, which is amazing. A BIG thank you to Lookfantastic for making this giveaway possible, it's been such a blast working with them on this :-)

Congratulations to Michelle Jane-Marie Burdick. I have sent you an email, so be sure to get back to me as soon as possible. Please don't feel discouraged if you didn't win this time, I have many more giveaways coming up. My next giveaway is probably going to be an MUA Makeup Academy giveaway, so be sure to keep your eyes open for that :-)

Beauty Haul: SensatioNail, Korres, Maybelline, Rimmel, Macadamia Natural Oil & More

Hey my beautiful friends :-)
It's been a while since I have done a haul post! I recently ordered some products from eBay and Lookfantastic. I also managed to finally get my hands on the SensatioNail starter kit, which I'm beyond excited about. I thought I would put together this post for you guys, and show you the items I picked up. Let's move on to the good stuff, shall we? :-)

The SensatioNail Starter Kit has been on my wish list, ever since I saw Elle from All That Glitters 21 do a video about it on her YouTube channel. I went to Vita last week with my friend Silje, and I spotted the kit up on one of the shelves in the store. At first, I couldn't believe my eyes, then I jumped around like a total maniac out of excitement and joy, ha ha! So I ended up picking up the starter kit + a few extra goodies as you can see on the picture above. I'm so excited to finally try this out, have heard so many wonderful things about it :-)

I also placed a sneaky little order on Lookfantastic. The lovely Lisa Lilleseth is a big fan of the Korres Pomegranate Cleansing & Makeup Removing Wipes, so I decided to pick up a package and try it out for myself. I also ordered a 250ml tub of the Macadamia Natural Oil Deep Repair Masque. I bought a small sample of this hair masque a while ago, and I really liked it. So I had to pick up a bigger tub this time. I absolutely love how this product smells, it's incredible :-)

After hearing so many amazing things about the Maybelline Baby Lips, I finally decided that it was time for me to jump on the bandwagon and try them out. I picked up Pink Punch and Peach Kiss, which was recommended to me by a few awesome people on Twitter. I'm looking forward to trying these out, they look so pretty in the packaging :-)

The lovely Emily from Beauty Broadcast on YouTube has mentioned this eyeliner from Rimmel quite a few times in her videos. I don't have any nude eyeliners in my collection, so that's why I decided to pick this one up. I have played with it a few times already, and so far I really like it. Keep your eyes open for a review :-)

I picked up this nail polish remover from Cutex, which is a brand that is brand new to me. I needed a acetone nail polish remover for removal of my SensatioNail gel manicure, and this was the one that was recommended to me by the people at the store. I also picked up the Maybelline Express Remover, which is supposed to remove your regular nail polish in just one dip. This looked very interesting in the store, so I'm very curious to see how well it works.  Keep your eyes open for a review :-)

Have you picked up any new beauty products lately? Have you tried out the Maybelline Baby Lips? Which shade is your favorite? :-)

Milani Illuminating Face Powder in Amber Nectar: Review, Photos & Swatches

♥ Milani Illuminating Face Powder in Amber Nectar.

About The Product:
Milani's Illuminating Face Powder is an ultra-smooth, multi-color blush, bronzer & highlighter. It gives the skin a hint of color with a lit-from-within radiant healthy glow. It's suitable for all skin types and tones.

♥ Milani Illuminating Face Powder in Amber Nectar.

My Thoughts:
Milani's Illuminating Face Powder in Amber Nectar is a multipurpose product, which means that it can be used for several different things. It can be used on the cheeks to give them a nice color, to highlight your face, and as a bronzer to give your face a pretty and natural glow. But that's not all, It can also be used on the eyes which I think is pretty awesome. When you blend all of the shades together, you get a beautiful peachy golden shade, which looks very pretty and it gives your skin a sun kissed look.

It's very easy to apply, and it blends beautifully into the skin. It's not that pigmented, but I think that's a good thing since it's such a shimmery product. I prefer to blend all the colors together and use it on my cheeks for a soft and pretty color, or to highlight my face. When I'm wearing it on my cheeks, I like to apply it with my e.l.f. Cosmetics Kabuki Face Brush. On days that I just want to use it to highlight my face, I prefer using my Real Techniques Setting Brush. I think this is a wonderful product, it just brightens up the complexion and gives you a beautiful and natural looking glow.

♥ Here I'm wearing Amber Nectar on my cheeks and on the eyes as well :-)

Don't you just love the packaging and design of this product? I think it looks so beautiful! It comes in this pretty golden compact with a clear lid. I love that the lid is clear, because it let's me see the true color of the product. It's got an embossed rose design, which looks stunning and quite high-end if you ask me. The rose design is deeply cut into the powder, so it's not going to disappear after you have used it a few times :-)

You might like this product if:
♥ You are a big fan of multipurpose products.
♥ You like the sun kissed look.
♥ You love pretty packaging.
♥ You like a nice and natural glow.

You might not like this product if:
♥ You don't like shimmery products.
♥ You prefer to wear matte blushes/bronzers.
♥ You expect more pigmentation.

City Color Elite Glimmer Gloss in Beige: Review, Photos & Swatches

♥ City Color Elite Glimmer Gloss in Beige.

The Gold Collection's lipgloss is lightweight, non-sticky and smells divine. Whether you're wearing this glamourous lipgloss alone or adding a luminous sheen to a lipstick, this lip gloss is sure not to disappoint. Don't forget, it's gold inspired look gives the body a sophisticated design making it a must-have for every girl :-)

♥ City Color Elite Glimmer Gloss in Beige.

♥ City Color Elite Glimmer Gloss in Beige.

♥ City Color Elite Glimmer Gloss in Beige.

My Thoughts:
City Color Elite Glimmer Gloss in Beige, is a beautiful pinky beige lip gloss with golden shimmer. It feels very soft and smooth on my lips and it doesn't feel sticky at all, which I really like. The shimmer/glitter is very fine, so you won't be able to feel it on your lips.

Beige is a sheer shade, but you can build up the color just a little. It looks very glossy and shiny on the lips, and the color is truly beautiful. If your not a big fan of shimmery lip glosses, you can always apply it onto the center of your lips to make them look bigger and fuller. It's got a cherry scent which is very similar to the NYX Megashine lip glosses, so if you like how they smell, I think you are going to like the Elite Glimmer Glosses by City Color Cosmetics.

♥ City Color Elite Glimmer Gloss in Beige.

The packaging is very cute. It's got a pretty golden flower detail on the tube, which I think looks very pretty and girly. The staying power isn't the best, so you have to keep re-applying it throughout the day. Beige looks very beautiful on top of a neutral lipstick, that's more on the browner side. I love wearing it on top of Fairest Nude lipstick by L'Oreal Paris and Allure from Dalton Cosmetics :-)

You might like this product if:
You are looking for a non-sticky and affordable lip gloss.
♥ You like cherry scented products.
♥ You love neutral lip glosses.
♥ You like shimmery lip glosses.

You might not like this product if:
♥ You don't like cherry scented products.
♥ You don't like to wear lip gloss in general.
♥ You are looking for something more opaque.
♥ You don't like shimmer on your lips.

Ingredients:
Polybutene, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Petrolatum, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Ceresin, Butylene Glycol, Isostearyl Isostearate, Hydrogenated Microcrystalline Wax (Hydrogenated Microcrystalline Cera), Beeswax (Cera Alba), Tocopheryl Acetate, Flavor (Aroma), Calcium Sodium Borosilicate, Propylparaben, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Iron Oxides (CI 77491), Mica (CI 77019), Red 6 Lake (CI 15850), Red 7 Lake (CI 15850), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891).

Yes Nurse Hand Cream: Review, Photos & Swatches

♥ Yes! Nurse Hand Cream.

Yes! Nurse is an intensive moisturizing hand formula specially designed to counteract dry, sore and cracked skin. The formula uses a range of carefully selected natural active ingredients, including Manuka honey and plant seed oils high in essential fatty acids. These compliment the skin’s natural defenses and provide a fast absorbing cell-boosting treatment. Keep reading to find out what I think about this product :-)

 ♥ Yes! Nurse Hand Cream.

My Thoughts:
My hands get very dry during the winter months, so I'm always looking for a good hand cream that's going to keep my hands nice and hydrated. I also wash my hands a lot during the day, which dries them out even more. I so happy to say that I have finally found my new favorite hand cream, all thanks to CHICHIBox.

This is the Yes! Nurse hand cream, which actively hydrates and replenishes the skin's natural defenses against the harsh effects at constant hand washing. This hand cream is developed for busy nurses, mums and beauty fanatics everywhere, and it works perfectly. It makes my hands extremely soft and smooth, and it absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving a greasy feeling behind. You can actually feel it absorbing into the skin in just a few seconds, which is amazing.

It's got a clean and very mild scent, so it's not going to give you a headache. Sometimes really strong scents can do that to me. The packaging is very slim and simple, which is something I also love about this hand cream. It doesn't take up much space in my handbag which I really like, because I like to carry my entire life with me in my handbag. Just ask Simon, ha ha :-)

♥ Yes! Nurse Hand Cream.

If you have dry and sensitive hands like myself, I highly recommend that you give this hand cream a chance. I never leave our apartment, without making sure that this product is safely in my bag, that's how much I love it. This is hands down one of the best hand creams that I have tried :-)

You might like this product if:
♥ You are looking for an affordable and good quality hand cream.
♥ You want a non-greasy hand cream.
♥ You like slim and handy packaging.
♥ You like clean and fresh scents.
♥ You have dry and sensitive skin.

You might not like this product if:
♥ You don't like to wear hand creams.
♥ You don't like clean scents.

Ingredients:

Products I've Used Up: February 2013

Hey Everyone :-)
I'm back with a brand new empties post for you. I managed to use up a few products during the month of February, and I'm so excited to finally be able to share them with you guys. I like to keep all of the items I use up in my Sephora bag. It's just a nice way for me to keep track of everything, without leaving anything out. But I do have to admit that I always look forward to throwing everything out by the end of the month, ha ha. Let's move on to the products I have used up :-)

Sunsilk Minerals Mineral Hair Cure:
I bought this product a long time ago, and I finally managed to use it all up. This product is supposed to make your hair look more healthy, strong and shiny. It does make my hair very soft and shiny, and it also has a very nice smell, which I really like and appreciate. I'm currently trying out the Macadamia Natural Oil Deep Repair Masque, so I'm going to give that one a try first and see how I like it. So I won't be picking up this product anytime soon :-)

Soap & Glory Hand Food Hand Cream:
I have been using this hand cream by Soap & Glory for a while now, and I really like it. My hands get extra dry during the winter, so I always need to have a good hand cream in my handbag. This hand cream makes my hands super soft, and it keeps them nicely moisturized for a while. It soaks quickly into the skin and it's got a nice scent, but I do find it to be just a little bit greasy. I might pick up another one of these small tubes, because they are so handy and nice for me to keep in my handbag :-)

Bioderma Crealine H2O Micelle Solution:
I have used up my very first bottle of the Bioderma makeup remover, and I really like it. I like using this to remove my eye makeup, and it works great. I don't think it's the best one for waterproof makeup, but since I hardly wear any, that doesn't bother me. I will definitely be picking up a bigger bottle of this very soon :-)

Yes To Cucumbers Soothing Natural Glow Facial Towelettes:
I have been loving these facial towelettes from Yes To Cucumbers. I only use them to remove my face makeup, and I'm very pleased with them. These are very moisturizing and nice on my skin. The moisture absorbs quickly into the skin, without leaving a greasy feeling behind.
The packaging is another thing I really like about these. It comes with a lid which keeps the facial towelettes nice and moisturized, so you don't have to worry about them drying out on you. I definitely want to pick up another package of these facial towelettes. They have been so hard to find lately, because they have been ''out of stock'' on almost every website that offers international shipping :-)

Simple Kind To Skin Cleansing Facial Wipes:
I have featured these cleansing facial wipes in several of my monthly favorites and empties posts, and they still remain my favorite. I use these to remove my face and my eye makeup, and I think they wonderful. You don't have to worry about them drying out on you (just be sure to close the lid properly), because they stay nice and moisturized in the package. I like to keep mine upside down, because that makes all the moisture run down and keep all of the wipes nice and moisturized. They have a very clean and fresh scent, which I really like and find very refreshing. I will definitely keep buying these, until I find something that I like better :-)

Did you manage to use up any skin care or makeup products during the month of February? :-)
